Caseworker

We’re looking for a caseworker to support women, no matter what their circumstances are. You’ll support women who may have multiple and complex needs in a trauma informed and person-centred way.

We know that building a trusting relationship makes all the difference when it comes to women engaging with support sessions in and out of the Centre. You’ll work with women from all backgrounds so we need someone who can build relationships easily and confidently, who has a fair-minded approach, is solution focussed and empathetic with a positive mind set, and is willing to go the extra mile to empower other women.

Responsible to: Caseworker Team Manager
Location: Nottingham Women’s Centre, 30 Chaucer Street, Nottingham, NG1 5LP
Hours: 37 hours per week (occasionally some after 5pm work)
Salary: £27,605 (pro rata)
Contract: 31st March 2026, plus a further 12 months subject to funder confirmation of contract extension.
Closing date: 9am, Friday 20th June 2025
Interview date: Thursday 10th and Friday 11th July 2025

  • It is an occupational requirement that applications are open to women only, as permitted and defined under Schedule 9 Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 and appropriate guidance.
  • This post is subject to completion of a three-month probationary period.
  • An enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role.
