The Own My Life programme with JUNO Women's Aid is an innovative, creative and educational 12-week course for women. It supports women to regain ownership of their lives when they have been subjected to abuse or violence by a partner.

👩🏽⚖️⚖️Kim Tate, a qualified solicitor, will be offering legal guidance for family matters involving children, disputes, protective injunctions and Legal Aid.

Conversational English classes for women with English as a second language [Summer 2025 – Weekend Classes]
Conversational English classes are a relaxed and totally FREE opportunity to practise English for any woman with English as a second language. Classes are run by students from STAR UoN (Student Action for Refugees, University of Nottingham) in a fun, relaxed and enriching environment.
Salsa & Bachata
Join us every Saturday for a fun and empowering Salsa & Bachata dance class with Ohla! Express yourself and have fun, with some great company! Classes are designed to boost your mood and leave you feeling energised. You’ll learn some new moves and styles for women, with an experienced instructor. Every Saturday from 2pm to 4.30pm, until May. Classes are £5 per session, but your first class is FREE!!
Quilting and Textiles Workshop
Nottingham Women's CentreQuilting & Textiles are Nottingham Women’s Centre’s textile creatives. They meet every week, bringing their own sewing, knitting, or textile projects to work on in this warm, welcoming environment.
Women Write Poetry Workshop
A friendly creative atmosphere, a safe space to have your say, where women are encouraged to explore their creativity to produce poetry, for all levels. We will also look at poetry structures; bring along your favourite published poems to discuss. There are no rules, just respect.
United Voices Choir 2025 – Block 3
