Receptionist/Administrator

This vitally important role is responsible for coordinating reception and being the first point of contact for welcoming women, and answering enquiries at the Centre.

Our Receptionists/Administrators are responsible for coordinating Reception and being the first point of contact for enquiries, welcoming women and visitors to the Centre and on the telephone. The post holder will undertake a range of administrative and reception duties in order to support the work of the Nottingham Women’s Centre.   

As the post-holder will be the first point-of-contact for women coming to the Centre, we are looking for someone with strong emotional resilience who can cope with the unexpected. You will need a positive mindset and be able to be flexible in your approach.

Details

Salary: £22,602 per annum, pro rata
Hours: Currently 31 hours per week with a view to increase to 37 hours per week

Shift pattern: Your working pattern will be two x 9am-5pm and two x 12pm-8pm shifts per week, plus alternative Saturdays (10am-2pm)

Contract: Permanent
Location: Nottingham Women’s Centre

You’ll need to support our values which include being feminist, anti-racist, inclusive, responsive and person-centred. Due to the nature and sensitivity of the project’s client group, the post holder must be a self-identifying woman.

As part of our anti-racism work we aim for 50% of shortlisted candidates to be from an ethnic minority. This positive action is being taken to further diversify our team.
