Nottingham Women’s Centre is recruiting a new Head of Policy and Communications to join our Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Executive. The post holder will work closely with colleagues to deliver the strategy for the organisation.
This role will suit someone who has solid advocacy and communications experience and is looking to grow and develop at an exciting time for the women’s sector and the organisation. Applicants should be persuasive writers and communicators, have a passion for advocacy and policy, strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to deliver at pace with a strong ability to prioritise.
A good understanding of communications products, website management and communications strategy is highly desirable. An understanding of the policy landscape and a demonstrable interest in gender equality and women’s rights is important.

Salary: £36,859 per annum pro rata
Hours: 37 hours (may involve some evenings and weekend work).
