Caseworker x2 (working at NWC and prisons)

We’re recruiting two full-time caseworkers!

This is a fantastic opportunity to support and empower women to help them achieve amazing things!

Nottingham Women’s Centre works to support women no matter what their circumstances are. We work in a trauma-informed way to help women identify their needs and support. These may include education, training, volunteering and work, working with women to claim benefits and working with women in the criminal justice system (or on community orders) or un-sentenced women on remand in prison, with a particular focus on accommodation, finance and social inclusion needs.

Details

Salary: £24,903 per annum
Hours: 37 hours (occasionally some after-5pm work).
Contract: Until 31st March 2025
Location: Nottingham Women’s Centre/In-prison work/Homeworking

This post will require an Enhanced DBS check. Having a criminal record will not necessarily disqualify you from securing the post.

You’ll need to support our values which include being feminist, anti-racist, inclusive, responsive and person-centred. Due to the nature and sensitivity of the project’s client group, the post holder must be a self-identifying woman.

As part of our anti-racism work we aim for 50% of shortlisted candidates to be from an ethnic minority. This positive action is being taken to further diversify our team.

Closing date: Friday 3rd February (or before if we have enough suitable applicants)
Selection days: Friday 17th February and Tuesday 21st February
