Arts and crafts, dance, workshops, speakers, stalls and food.

Join us for International Women’s Day – Celebrating You on Friday 7th March, 10.30am – 4pm! We’re celebrating all women, self-care, activism and community across two venues!! We’ll be in NWC’s hub at 30 Chaucer Street, and also at the Friends Meeting House on Clarendon Street. There’ll be empowering speakers and energising activities. This year’s theme is #AccelerateAction, so join us to get inspired to take action for yourself, and for all women! Our focus is on well-being, self-care and community.

We’ll have arts and crafts, dance, workshops, info stalls, food and soft drinks. Find out more about nourishing self-care options at our workshops on self-esteem, stress and sleep hygiene, plants and nature, and poetry. There’ll also be relaxing craft workshops such as collage, wreath making and henna hand-painting, plus energising, expressive, and mindful activities such as boxing, ballet fusion and mediation. There’ll also be a chance to learn more about women’s campaigns and causes, and how to get involved at workshops on everyday activism, inspiring talks, and campaign updates from WASPI.

All women are welcome! See you on Friday 7th March from 10.30am to 4pm!
