The Women’s Centre Library has a large amount of feminist archive material; periodicals, journals, newsletters etc. much of which dates back to the 1970s and 1980s. This has now been added to our catalogue and is searchable online.

There are a number of ways to find what you’re looking for:

If you know the title of a particular item e.g. Spare Rib, you can enter it in the search box.

Or if you want to browse, click on the folder tab in the top left hand corner and select format from the drop down menu. You can then choose whether to select from journals, magazines, newsletters, newspapers etc.

You can come into the library and access these materials for reading, projects and research but they aren’t available to take out of the building on loan.

We would like to say a big thank-you to our Library volunteers for all the hard work they have done over the last year or so sorting through, classifying and uploading all the material to make this happen.
