We’re looking forward to welcoming another amazing woman to the Nottingham Women’s Centre team. Could it be you?

You’ll be part of our management team and leading on our communications and marketing work to enable us to further raise our profile and sustain our services for the long term.

Nottingham Women’s Centre is run by women, for women and we’ve been around for over 40 years. We aim to help all women to gain the confidence and skills to achieve their potential and become stronger and more independent. We provide a safe and supportive environment in which women can do this, either by taking part in training or activities, getting support and services, or campaigning and becoming active in bringing about change.

We offer a generous amount of leave, opportunities for flexible working, personal development and a supportive working environment that includes access to an employee assistance programme.

Work Towards Becoming a New Confident You with Women and Confidence Building Sessions

Would you like to build your confidence to deal with everyday situations, improve your communications skills and make changes in your life?

The Women and Confidence Building course aims to help you to be more confident about your future. Women Leading Learning, a branch of the Worker’s Educational Association (WEA), runs the course.

The course is designed to help you to develop your confidence by building on your own life-skills and experiences. During the course, you will learn new and practical ways of dealing with situations that are particularly problematic.

WEA classes are friendly and supportive. You will be encouraged to work together with your fellow students and tutor. The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you to be actively involved in your learning.

It is recommended that all five sessions are attended and the course runs on the following dates:

1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November 2017.

To book your place, contact our friendly reception team on 0115 9411475.

This course may be free to those on a low income or means-tested benefits.
